Danah Meyer is an educator and co-founder of Lumerell and Open Meadow LLC. She brings nearly a decade of Massachusetts public-school teaching experience, including fifth-grade English language arts and social studies, to her work building practical tools for educators.

At Lumerell, Danah helps shape product direction, design, and development, drawing on firsthand experience with curriculum planning, classroom preparation, and the daily demands of teaching. Her work centers on making those responsibilities more manageable through clear, thoughtful tools that respect teachers’ expertise.

Danah is guided by a simple belief: technology should support the judgment, creativity, and relationships at the heart of good teaching. She is building Lumerell to give educators more time for that work, reduce burnout, and give back bandwidth. Lumerell is built to support teachers, not to replace them.

Joe is an educator and co-founder of Lumerell and Open Meadow LLC. He brings a decade of classroom experience in Massachusetts public schools, including teaching in Concord and Carlisle. His work as a teacher gave him a firsthand understanding of the time and care that go into meaningful lessons—and the planning and administrative demands that compete for teachers’ attention.

At Lumerell, Joe brings that classroom perspective to product design and development, helping turn the everyday challenges of teaching into practical tools for educators. He believes technology should respect teachers’ expertise and make room for their creativity, judgment, and relationships with students. He is building Lumerell to help teachers spend more time on the work that drew them to education.
